Radiology Technologist

Southwest Healthcare Services has an exciting opportunity for an outstanding Radiology Technologist to join our Radiology team. We are looking for a full-time Tech. to work flexible day shifts in our Hospital, Clinic and Long Term Care with call on evenings and weekends.

Job Description:

Performs diagnostic imaging examinations on patients, ensuring the production of quality diagnostic images. Ensures accurate patient positioning during radiographic procedures; conducts image operations according to provider requests and other technical factors. Implement radiation safety guidelines and conducts proper radiation protection practices during the imaging process. Must possess the skills and knowledge to operate or learn to operate CT equipment to produce quality CT scans. Produces quality computed tomography exam images and exercises professional judgment in the performance of procedures. Delivers excellent patient care and education before, during and after diagnostic imaging procedures and initiates life support measures as necessary. Demonstrate dependability by responding on-call for emergencies on evenings and weekends. Works with all age groups. Work as a team with providers, nurses, and other ancillary staff in a variety of situations, including outpatient and emergency scenarios.



Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiology and licensed through the ND MIRT Board of Examiners. Must have completed an educational program accepted by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Must have a good understanding of diagnostic radiographic principles, including radiographic positioning, image processing, quality control and radiation protection. Computer skills desirable with experience in computed/digital radiography and PACS preferred. CT experience preferred but willing to train for the right candidate.
