Financial Counselor
The Clinic/Hospital/LTC is seeking a Full-Time Patient Financial Counselor to assist patients, residents, and family members in understanding costs of treatment and developing payment solutions.
- Communicate with patients, residents, and insurance companies
- Document and report payment information
- Educate patients about payment options and financial assistance
- Negotiate and strategize patient payment arrangements
- Verify and Post payments received
- Prepare and transmit statements
- Perform administrative functions as directed by Manager
